Pipeline projects often require connections to the existing network and can require detailed planning and execution to minimise disruption to service levels. Civil Flow can assist in detailing complex valve shut plans/ sequences, network intervention plans to identify and minimise risks and construction methodologies for network connections. 

•  Management of sewage flows is a critical component of wastewater projects, and effective management of flows can assist in developing safe work methodologies in constructing new sewer infrastructure assets. 
• Civil Flow is able to assist in developing flow management plans and sewer bypass methodologies to manage sewage flows during construction, including; Bypass Pump Selection, Capacity Analysis & Specification 
• Including review of appropriate pumps and pump arrangement 
• Bypass Pipeline Sizing and Specification 
• Bypass pump site layout, including selection of appropriate pipe sizing, jointing and specification - Pump System Static Lift & Net Present Suction Head Analysis 
• Calculations of overall pump system design, in flooded suction or suction lift conditions, including suction head calculations for various conditions to ensure risk of pump cavitation and failure is avoided .

The construction of new water/ wastewater infrastructure projects can often combine multi-disciplinary commissioning activities such as civil/ structural/ mechanical/ electrical and the arranging of other subcontractors. Civil Flow can assist in developing detailed commissioning plans and activities to ensure new assets are proven and commissioned in a timely manner .

Complex trenchless construction of new water, sewer and electrical pipelines can often require a thorough and detailed engineering assessment of the proposed installation conditions. Civil Flow is able to provide design solution of the HDD installation to ASTM F1962-11, including selection and specification of the pipeline materials, hydro-fracture analysis, prediction of pipe pull-back forces and development of pipe stringing and pull-back plans for client review.
